It costs a little more, as there are different grades. I like the cold pressed that is not all the way solid. More like a heavy gel. You can't pour it out but it is still kind of liquid. A little goes a long way depending on what you are using it for. And the flavor does not totally over come what you are 'working' on.Where can I get coconut oil?
Is it still temperature sensitive like the food grade? The stuff we've gotten in the past solidifies under 70 degrees and liquifies over 85, so mid to late spring or early fall would be the only time it's really workable. It costs a little more, as there are different grades. Its 23oz jar. Says Nutiva on it. And lots of other catch phrases like non-gmo, pure, made in Philippines. Intended for consumption. And not solidified hard like the 5 or 8 dollar jars which are usually plastic not glass. Like I said its not hard, but you cannot pour it out. We put it in a dish with straight sides and that in a bowl or small pot with warm water in it. We do not heat it try to warm it to a specific temp. Just warmer than the cupboard it was in. We are human so 98.3 or so... possibly warmer where erotically enhanced. I think it is refined as well. It has a pretty high smoke point as I have not reached it yet. Unrefined is lower, like 300 and has a much stronger coconutty flavor. haha I said nuttyIs it still temperature sensitive like the food grade?
