Deporting US citizens?

Let's do some simple "social science" math, shall we?

Approximately 50% of the club attendees are illegal aliens. After the raid, the drugs and guns were seized. The number of guns/amount of drugs wasn't specified, but since 50% of the attendees were arrested, we can assign 50% of the illicit stuff to them.

Yet you attempt to infer that the illegal aliens are blameless.

Which points out that you would ascribe ALL of the illegal behavior to those who weren't arrested and NONE of the illegal behavior to those who were arrested. Which next begs the question; why weren't those criminals arrested too?

Basically, you suck at creating narratives because it's very easy to see straight through it and reveal it to be nothing but the lying bullshit it really is.

@HisArpy

You say you’re a lawyer? Fascinating—because assigning criminal guilt by headcount sounds more like barstool logic than anything you'd hear in a courtroom. “57% of the people were undocumented, so 57% of the guns and drugs must be theirs.” Brilliant. Maybe next you’ll argue 10% of the floor was sticky, so 10% of the crime happened there.

The article doesn't tie a single weapon or drug to any individual, but you leap to blame the undocumented anyway. That’s not reasoning—it’s bias doing a victory lap.

And as for “you suck at creating narratives”? Buddy, you’re the one writing fan fiction here. The only thing transparent is your agenda. Try building your argument on evidence instead of stereotypes. It'll feel weird at first—but it gets easier with practice.

1. As a lawyer my job is to gather the facts and develop an assessment of what actually happened. I will view that assessment in light of what's most beneficial to my client, but I cannot and will not omit or change facts from what they are into something they aren't. Because being completely stupid isn't in my playbook.

2. FACT: The government arrested approximately 50% of the attendees. Fact: They also seized drugs and guns from the attendees. FACT: The government doesn't let people who are at a crime scene and in unlawful possession of guns or drugs go free. I'm sure you can add up those facts and come to the same conclusion I did. If you can't that's 100% on you.

3. As a lawyer, were one of the people arrested my client I'd advise them to proceed based on the FACTS. If that means pleading guilty to a lesser offense is the best course of action, that's what I'd advise them to do. What I wouldn't do is tell them to create a narrative based on social media bullshit which isn't borne out by the FACTS. Why? Because that will only piss off the judge and increase the potential sentence after they're found guilty.

4. When it comes to ICE arresting illegal aliens, and there is evidence of a crime as well as the illegal immigration status offense, it's often a smarter play (something you're probably not capable of understanding because smart isn't in your wheelhouse) to accept the deportation without criminal charges rather than go to trial on the criminal offenses, be found guilty, and go to prison first before being deported upon your release after serving your full FEDERAL prison time without any parole. This means the arrested illegal immigrant gets to choose between going home in a week or staying for 5-10 years in prison before going home afterward.

The real problem here is that you think you're so smart and clued up you miss what's really happening. In fact, you never saw any of that coming, did you? Which is why I'm the lawyer and you're the asshole who thinks he's clever for posting shit you know nothing about on a porn board.

It's funny that you still think anyone gives any credence to you being a lawyer.

Republicans Vote Against Move To Stop ICE Deporting US Citizens

House Republicans have voted down an effort to block immigration enforcers from using federal resources to detain or deport U.S. citizens.
During a House Judiciary Committee meeting on Wednesday, Democrats tabled amendments to a sweeping budget bill that President Donald Trump has dubbed "one big, beautiful bill."
One amendment introduced by Representative Pramila Jayapal, the Democrat from Washington state, sought to make clear Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot detain or deport U.S. citizens under any circumstances. GOP lawmakers killed that amendment.

Why It Matters

Trump, in April, floated the idea of sending U.S. citizens convicted of violent crimes to El Salvador.

The new Trump administration has also been accused of flouting court orders and deporting migrants without due process following campaign promises of mass deportation. The administration has denied such accusations.
Any such moves risk a clash with the U.S. Supreme Court, which said in a ruling last month that any deportees should first be given due process through the courts.

. Fact: They also seized drugs and guns from the attendees.
“When the cops showed up at the door, most of the drugs hit the floor,” Pullen said.

"Pullen estimated more than 200 people were inside the nightclub. Also among those detained were a dozen active-duty military members who either were patrons or working as armed security. Some patrons were arrested on undisclosed outstanding warrants, Pullen said."

Yes, active duty military, working in a illegal after hours club.

"More than 100 immigrants suspected of being in the United States illegally were taken into custody early Sunday following a federal raid at an illegal after-hours nightclub in Colorado Springs, authorities said."

There is LEGAL PRECEDENT which asserts that if 2 or more people are found in the proximity of illicit stuff, all the gov has to do is provide the evidence that the accused were there, the illicit stuff was there, and none of them admitted it was theirs so as to exonerate the others. Once the government does that THE ACCUSED have to prove that it's not theirs.

It's called shifting the burden of proof.

This is why people need lawyers instead of stupid assholes on the internet like you who don't understand the rules of the game.

BTW, it doesn't matter what someone's employment status is.

Lol

So if the stuff was there
And the people were there
The people owned the stuff.

Attorney at law arpy everybody

Which is not what you wrote earlier. Now is it? You wrote "seized guns and drugs",not "found in the proximity"....Go take a bath in carbon based water with your 6 volt radio....
