Scribbled it up nice and quick on copier paper with cheap colored pencils. Dripping sap? GOD NO! The coot looks none too pleased.

It has. "Fair Use" is a US standard. People have taken images that are owned by artists in other countries like Japan, where there is no Fair Use standard.
