🌶️💃🏻🎸Brat House: Boobs, Bums and Bedlam🌶️💃🏻🎸

Thank you so much!!!

Back in the early 90's I discovered Phish. These guys are total heroes to me. And Trey Anastasio is just crazy talented. And recently I saw him in a video with Peter Frampton and Grace Bowers. I had not seen her before, but wow... she held her own perfectly with these two monsters. I will share that link, if anyone is interested... but I was just touched by how cool it was to see them join Peter Frampton on stage.

Sorry... derailed myself a bit there.... one of the things I loved about Phish, was they would just play the same progression, over and over again. To me, it gives me a chance to just dig in and listen to that phrase. Those notes. Those overtones. They will play something for what normally would seem like way too long... you'll alienate and lose your listeners doing that! But they do it... and it really is cool. It was always cool to me, playing piano as a kid, or guitar or bass later on... but it's like they made it legit.

I could easily go on playing like that for waaaaaaaaaaay too long on guitar. Not so much a lead phrase, but a rhythm phrase. The rhythm guitar was always far more interesting to me than the lead, and the bass, a bit more interesting still. It seemed to me, that's where the emotion is. The lead seems more like a chance to show off guitar acrobatics, which really doesn't excite my bits.

So... when I hear you say., you like to relax and listen... that is a magical, wonderful thing to me. I can't help but wonder... do you, and @DannieB , and @Chloe_Harper , @Hornymwtxn , and so others on this thread also get that weird relaxation, enjoyment out of hearing a repeating passage? As a kid, I was fascinated with a song called "effigy" by CCR. There was something about that song that spoke to my soul. Something that made me... I don't know... almost put me in a trance of just pleasant sounds...

Here is the performance of Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, playing with the absolutely legendary Peter Frampton and new to me, Grace Bowers. Who I am not a fan of. She is so cool!

For me I know when I hear something I like, but I can't explain why I like it as I have zero musical knowledge other than listening to it.

I guess it's sort of like pornography, you know it when you see it. But don't let others decide for YOU what YOU find enjoyable.

Two coffees and emails sounds like plenty to me! Of course I've had two coffees and it's only 7:12 AM here 😂
My first coffee is at 10:30am, and a second with lunch. If I drink a coffee first thing in the morning, I feel like throwing up. I've been raised with orange juice first thing in the morning, hence if I don't have the juice, I'm a zombie for the day

Good morning all ☕ .... Small (like fifteen minutes small) procedure this afternoon. But this morning? Well now that is time for job searches and cleaning of the tile floors 😂 yea baby.

Monday it's back to road work and stair machines. Next race June 11
That's a lot on your plate. I hope the procedure goes well! I know you're going take this DNF, nod at it with respect, then flip it off as you go into your next race.

Do we wanna know what kinda mess is on those tile floors?

This is so fascinating to me. I don't eat breakfast first thing because my stomach isn't awake. If I try feeding him, he rejects it and me for a while. Little bitch. But coffee?

I started getting to have coffee around 10. My mom would bring it to me in bed because I was a difficult child to wake up (because I stayed up so late reading under the covers). I always wanted coffee like everyone else, and so she made me café au lait in a mug she got just for me.

Orange juice, I didn't like as a kid. But as an adult I love. Especially if it's got sparkling water or champers or vodka in it... so, I like it at brunch 😂

I think that is so sweet that should we bring you coffee! In bed even!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I hope this topic gets wild and spicy – I enjoy these sorts of discussions!

I’ll start off with how I attempt to define kinky and then normal kinky vs. weird kinky. Disclaimer, I only think a kink is weird if it violates someone’s autonomy, it removes the capacity for consent, and if it is an act that has no regard for one of the participants. That said, I’ll use weird kinky to describe anything that is ethically “in-bounds” with the preceding caveat.

To define kinky, I start off by asking myself, “Would this be a sexual act that a deacon or elder of a moderately conservative church admit to engaging in?” I come from a fairly conservative region with some cultural pockets of incredibly conservative-almost-fundamentalist enclaves of people. There are some people who would go so far as to say oral sex or doggy-style is “wild.” I’m not going that far. Even in most socially conservative circles, fellatio, cunnilingus, a variety of sexual positions, and possibly the use of fairly innocuous and “beginner” sex toys would be perfectly acceptable (if you’re married, of course :eyeroll: ). So what is kinky? Anything that goes beyond the italicized activities mentioned.

So, what is “normal” kinky vs. “weird” kinky? I think this is a culturally dependent term and it’s a moving baseline as humans change over the eras. I think weird kinky, if defined in the 1960s, would be sex in a room with other people present, perhaps anal sex? I don’t really know, my parents were children in the 1960s. What’s weird kinky now? I think that’s a little easier to define because we’re currently in the present and we know how people would react to something we would tell them. I think it’s important to remember that Lit is an area where the sexually open-minded (mostly…) congregate and anyone who is an active participant here is not likely to represent the general public’s sexual proclivities. Litizens will likely be kinkier, more sexually driven, and open-minded than the general population.

To me, weird kinky would be defined in a few ways:
1. I feel slightly (or more) bashful saying putting it on Lit that I’m admitting it’s something I want or do.
2. It’s something most “normal” people had never heard of.
3. I had to look it up, research it, had to educate myself on how to do it safely.

I wish Lit was better about making polls usable, but in my typical nerd/data-driven way… https://strawpoll.com/GPgVYr3EEna
Okay, in my thread, we were discussing what makes a kink a "weird" kink. I like Mischief's explanation, so I'm sharing. But also, he put in a poll, and I would love to see some of the Brat House tenants votes on it because, well let's face it, we are a weird and kinky bunch in here 🤪🤣

@Hornymwtxn we know you're Captain Vanilla and all that
But, you can't vote ALL of them as weird 😝

Oh for sure... Last time I took a dnf it was in a 100 miler and I followed it up with a personal best so hopefully it'll be something like that

So many different things..... Not THAT though. I clean up my messes 😉
