Uploading large stories with both images and text?

Hello,

I have written a kind of porno opus in Microsoft Word which is quite large (115MB and 112 pages). It is a pastiche of retro hardcore porn magazines of the '70s, '80s and '90s and has both images and text. I have tried uploading it as a Word doc.x but the uploading process never completes.

Could you advise or assist in getting this document onto the site?

I'm afraid word docs are a maximum of 2 Mb (!) in size.

There's no way you'll be able to do what you want, unless you break into chapters (and probably comrpess the s%it out of the images).
I believe that it may be possible to provide links to separately posted artwork in your story. But I'm unsure A) whether that works, and B) whether it will mess up the formatting.

Thanks. I figured 'serialization' is going to be the only option. I'll work some salacious 'cliff-hangers' in and try to break this monsterpiece down into publishable sections.

Do you have nudity in your images? If so, I'd check with Laurel first (the site Editor). There's a bit of a kerfuffle going on at the moment, to do with a proposed change to policy. She would also be able to advise how to submit the piece.

And if the images are hardcore, they're probably not going to be publishable here.
