Thoughts on taxpayers funding travel for Vance's family

Perhaps I am making assumptions here but I am seeing Vance's wife and kids accompany him on trips to other countries such as Greenland and India. I cannot help but wonder if the American taxpayer is paying for them as well. I can understand his wife traveling with him but the kids? And that too for meetings with foreign state leaders? Why the fuck should I pay for their travel as a taxpayer? What am I missing?

Usha Vance seems to be a decent woman. Recent pictures of her though show an amazing change after her husband's 100 days or so in office. She seems to have aged ten years overnight.
