I post my work on Reddit nsfw subs, HentaiFoundry, Mastodon.art, and Bluesky, besides here.
Since it's likely that visual art on this site and this forum might be done for...does anyone know any other options, in light of the new/upcoming policy? Especially forums (fora?) Suggestions welcome.

@DoctorWatson1975 There's still Tumblr, which allows non photographic erotic art. Mind you, their photographic nudity ban five or so years ago is a spectacular failure - my feed is still much the same as it was.

This is a surprise to me. I was under the impression that they don’t allow any nsfw posts. I guess I should try and post there, see how it works out. Thanks!

Their policy shift was a fuck up, big time.

The porn posters got around it very quickly by posting an innocent photo of a sunset or a puppy, that would go through the content monitors (automated, is my guess), then they'd come back and change the image.

Since that first attempt, Tumblr now lets you flag your blog as erotic, which means it won't go through to search engines, but you can still post. Drawings and paintings are allowed - some photography too, a lot still gets through. I see occasional posts where content has been taken down, but not many.

I run a main blog with my own art and some short stories, and two slave blogs, one for original art, one for photography that I like. The latter two contain some very graphic content, my own is mostly life drawing, nude but not explicit. It's all characterised as erotic, with a more limited distribution. But my feed would be easily be 50 - 100 images an hour - I joined Tumblr about the same time I joined Lit, so that's ten years worth of blog following.

With the Tumblr thing - I had to appeal a few times to allow my drawings back on which they agreed to, except for one drawing in particular which they keep insisting on banning (even though I keep re-uploading it !).
In any case it does not seem to be worth the fight as I personally get zero engagement on that platform.
The same scenario then happened on Pinterest - had to keep appealing, and more recently they went after my drawings on my artist page on facebook, there also seems to be a threat of it happening over on Flickr.
The places we are able to post really seems to be diminishing on a weekly basis.....
There's always good old Deviantart of course, Flickr, Pinterest, X / Twitter, Instagram / Threads.

Good morning.

Yesterday after reading about the upcoming policy changes, I was playing around on a website called Art Untamed which hosts erotic artwork and stories much like Lit. The art seems to be a lot of animation type art as you might see in a video game and the traffic of the site looks minimal. At any given time while I was online, there were only about 60 members present. I don't expect a huge following there, but I thought perhaps I could use that space to host what is getting banned here then link to it for those who still want to see my material.

If Literotica is going to allow art posts but only if it's accessed through a link to the piece, Art Untamed could be used for that purpose. Here is the link to the website (careful, someone may be looking over your shoulder and the images show up on their landing page)...https://artuntamed.com/index.php?help/aboutau/

I did a couple posts of my current work already here on Lit to try it out and get familiar with it, so here's the link to my sketch I shared...https://artuntamed.com/index.php?media/feel-the-breeze-pencil-sketch.97112/

I registered for an account and the site opened up much more for viewing than just browsing a guest. Registration was easy like Lit, just create username and verify account through an email.

I was going to reach out to Literotica asking about the option to repost the artwork they plan to remove with a new publishing featuring a link to the work instead of a an upload how we currently do it. Maybe that's an exception they will make since it's a pathway rather than erotic visuals directly on their platform.

I hope this helps as an option.

I had a quick look at the Gallery. It was dominated by AI generated "art", I saw only one drawing by a human.

The site is hosted in Europe though, so that might make it worthwhile.
Yeah I saw that and I don't expect much of a following there. I only signed up to have a spot to host what won't be allowed here. It can generate a link to share in my bio or if they allow us to post here with links to the work instead.
I sent a feedback message to site admin asking about the use of links to art rather than uploading right to the platform. So we'll see if that's an option.

Here's a website that I don't beleive anyone has mentioned on here before, and it has allowed all my (nude and semi-nude) drawings to remain - they just need to be flagged as mature

If anyone wants to check out my page my user name is Art_by_Philip_Gray

Hi everyone. Here is a possible alternative for posting erotic art that I found yesterday.

Porn3dx.com

I submitted my last two Lit illustrations last night and they were up on this site in minutes. And they’ve now have had almost 2,000 views.

This site is more oriented towards 3D and digital artwork. Maybe some members here can find this site as an alternative to be creative and share their work. Just thought I’d mention it……

Since I have not found another option for linking my images (that works for me) and that I no longer have image attachment privileges here, I am pretty much done.

Yep. They basically shadow ban blogs. I had some porn, but I used it as a general interest blog, like my other one. I logged out and didn't look back, because of the new owners foolish decisions. Until a month ago. I removed all the flagged shit, and my blog is still shadowbanned, because talking to staff is like trying to talk to google.

Pinterest has a new AI that's just running around banning accounts for anything, or nothing. So somehow it's gotten worse than it already was. There's also pafegamI, and blogger.
