ICE has been pilloried on social media about their "welfare checks" on Hispanics. Their 5 man SWAT teams have been augmented now with "Wifi jammers" that will shut down all Wifi connection within a 100 yard radius. The rise in wifi-enable Ring doorbell cameras have made for embarring moments on Instagram and TitKok, these will now largely disappear thanks to these jammers.
An immigration attorney publicized this when he noticed his wifi connection went out suddenly and ICE goons without a warrant attempted to question him about "suspected aiding and harboring of illegal immigrants and interfering with an ongoing ICE investigation". He told them he had a legal right to see whatever potential clients he wanted and to fuck off and die unless they had a warrant signed by a court (they didn't).
He went back to check his Ring Wifi footage to document the ICE encounter at his front door, and found that the connection was broken during the entirety of the ICE visit.
