The 2nd amendment DOES NOT mean you have a right to own an AR-15

The 2nd amendment DOES NOT protect your right to own an AR-15.

These are extremely dangerous military-style weapons that ONLY THE MILITARY should have access to!
SCOTUS has ruled that 2A protects our right to own guns in common use. Because there an estimated 25 million to 40 million AR15s in common use in the US today, they are obviously quite common. In fact they are the most popular rifle in America.

So you’re free to buy one, but be advised that some states have restrictions that the courts have allowed on certain features like magazine capacity (ex. 10 rounds in CA), method of swapping magazines, and cosmetic things that politicians think are too scary looking.

The text of the second amendment says nothing about the right to bear arms being limited to citizens.

Actually, yes it does but it does so as a result of causality.

The Constitution's legally binding preamble sets forth who the Constitution applies to and that is We the People of the United States.

The Constitution then applies to those citizens subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.

The courts have erred in trying to extend US jurisdiction into other countries as we are seeing right now with the illegal who was deported to his home country of El Salvador. That man who is in his home country has exactly no rights in the US nor do any of our defined rights apply to him.

The Supreme Court has determined that the Bill of Rights applies to non-citizens.

That's nice. Now let them enforce it.

To wit: Someone from the UK comes to the US and criticizes Islam. When he arrives back in the UK he gets arrested and prosecuted because the jurisdiction of the US Supreme Court doesn't mean fuck all outside of the USA.

This guy in El Salvador? Same thing. The US Supreme Court has ZERO jurisdiction in El Salvador.

The Supreme Court has jurisdiction over executive branch employees who violate the law. Escalating contempt of court charge will bring them to heel.

The issue here is that the courts are too often inserting themselves into clearly defined Executive and Legislative purviews.

To wit: The US Supreme Court has ZERO authority to order the Executive branch to go to El Salvador and take one of their citizens to the United States.

That’s not the issue at all. The issue is the Executive Branch illegally deported a man who had a judges order that he not be deported before certain things happened.

To wit: illegal deportation without due process is the issue here. That should concern even citizens.

Well I own 3 of them and I haven't had anyone ask me to give them up so...I think I will keep them! Just sayin
