❌Monthly Song Challenge: Archived🎵

I was introduced to this song via Disney's second fantasia film 🖤
Great music is timeless and can move people of all generations. I first heard snippets of Rhapsody in Blue in a television commercial for United Airlines, of all places. The little bit of music that they used absolutely moved me. Later on, when my daughter was in High School, she was involved in both the concert and marching band, It was also a very talented band, one of the members received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and others made the cut at other universities. Anyway, they built their field show around this Gershwin classic and absolutely brought the house down with every performance. They were good, but I think half of their scoring was the music itself.
Love your pick, Summer; it brings back a flood of some of my best memories.

Day 16: A song for feeling lovey dovey

Collide - Howie Day

I think the somg wouldn't evoke the feelings so much if I didn't so strongly associate it with the dance that was performed to it on SYTYCD Season 7. The dance paired with the song just really brings out those "lovey dovey" feelings.
