I don't know what the laws are there its quite possibly a lot higher than that. If its like CA where even WAY back in the day you were encouraged to sign up to vote when you got your license these days you basically have to opt out of it. Its part of a package similar to what you sign when you get employed. "Sign here, here, here, initial here, and here, sign here, thumb print sign here" You didn't read it and at least one page was "Don't rape anybody." Then you have people who are just too polite when they are shopping and will sign anything you shove in their face.

I know some of those people are paid by the signature so if I'm not in a rush I'll squiggle down something for them because it doesn't hurt me at all. I might not be the hugest fan of "capitalism" as its practiced in the US but if the only thing I need to do to get someone whatever they get paid per signature I can do that for them. I can also let that one hobo who seems to be at my local gas station everyday around 4pm can have my plastic bottles and soda cans. I'm even nice enough that I throw them in a plastic bag for him instead of throwing them away at home or work its only two extra steps and he never bothers me. heck the first couple of times he was scared of me. Like that stray dog you gave a hotdog to and it was so scared you'd take it back that they snatched and run.

I'm also if I'm in a mood not above tossing him a Gatorade.

Lets add on how many people in the US don't vote because we know it doesn't make a difference. I only vote if something important is happening locally. I'm in CA. Reagan was the last Republican to take my state and I believe sometime in the 90s was the last time we had a Republican Senator. So yeah.

So yeah I'd wager there are far more than 50k (Even in that specific area) who registered with no real intention of voting. This is a few years old but it should serve just fine. Arizona has roughly 3.5 million registered voters, almost exactly 69% of the population per my link but Google is saying as of 2024 Arizona has 7 million so. . .yeah the numbers may not be precise but we're talking about 50k. That would puts them just a little above the general population.

So yes. Yes I believe that. I honestly think that number is probably low and I bet you if we dug into the data of who votes regularly we would find that the 30% who aren't registered and the 48% (Nationally) and 45% (Arizona specifically) don't vote is probably pretty static. Its not some random percentage. Those are people who have jobs that make voting difficult. When you factor in my commute I'm gone before my polling location opens and by the time I get home well sometimes they are just closed. I also ilve in CA. I'm not waiting in line for for an hour in 100 degree weather if it doesn't end with me getting seated for Nobuo Uametsu performing with the Black Mages. Or Wicked. I would do that again. Otherwise NOPE.

I vote by mail most of the time ANYWAY but my point remains before you get huffy.

I used to post here all the time - the lefties were always ignorant, just parroting shit they hear on MSNBC or CNN or some leftard politician. That has gotten much worse, by which I mean more absurd.

I usually post on another site, which was down for 2 days. The lefties there are still stupid, but not as ridiculous as here. The big difference is on that site, you get in trouble calling them assholes or cunts. LOL
