Just after midnight and I'm all caught up! Sorry, B2! I need to meet my curfew tonight!

I had a middling day. Woke up with a sore throat this morning. Sneezing and snotty, too. Probably allergies but decided to have an easy-ish day today.

I stripped a Costco rotisserie chicken. Sexy music and all! The bones went into the "bone bag" to roast for stock. The dark meat went into a bag for my housekeeper. I don't like dark chicken meat but she does. What was left of the white meat went into a bag for me. My little girl was very attentive and helpful during this process!

I also started my taxes. A bit early this year! I would have finished them but didn't get the SSA-1099 for my husband. I'll try to call SSA tomorrow, maybe... Or, more likely, file an extension until I can get the form. As it is, I'm getting a refund ATM. The little bit of SSA won't affect that.

Sleep well and wake refreshed and ready to do battle with Monday! It's Monday already across the pond. How is it, G and NC?

I pulled weeds when I took out the garbage in a 2x2 spot.... looks like that activity is on hold

I say brownies are for beginners
We make lots of different edibles
This last batch I used a QP of killer green bud
Even for us there very potent

Today I had 11 meetings on my calendar. For the last three weeks this has been pretty typical.

But then the unexpected happened- my meeting at 3 to 4 canceled! I took the most amazing power nap from about 3:15 to 3:45.

Man, it was good before two quick meetings!

Now I’m done with all my meetings, and have all the fucking work to do.

But damn that nap was fiiiiiiiiine!

Haha - nah, those are just brownie edges viewed through plastic and then a camera lens. I'm sure it was fine. But that was fun - like the "what do you see" game with clouds.

While we were dating, my first wife and I did that. I didn't know what I was doing, so I tossed an entire Z into the mix. We ate two, went to supper and then to a deep kind of movie. Fuck, we were so blasted.

I always liked that one, too. I have three in that hue, or they were when they were built going on 80 years ago. One will probably stay that way, maybe two.

I'm amazed how well you function with your sleep interrupted so often. Of course, I would do the same for a family member. Hope you get a nap, if needed.

It’s a habit i formed when my kids would sleep walk. I became a light sleeper. I also learned to function on very little sleep. I especially learned that when they were infants. If you believe my Apple Watch, I go quickly into REM and out just as quick. I am probably just a weird old guy.
