The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Finally, I have caught up! I started late tonight. I was on a call with a dear friend who helped me with something called a "cotter pin." It looks a bit like a bobby pin.

My PINK wheelbarrow was delivered today. Of course, I was excited to see it. The box looked smallish; when I opened it, I realized I would have to assemble the wheelbarrow! I did really well until the last part, putting on the wheels. It said to put the "cotter pin" through the hole on the axle. I did, but it fell out. I was going to call my boat guy tomorrow to see if he could tell me how to make it work. My wonderful friend had me go to the garage, put the camera on the assembly, and told me how to make the cotter pin work. Now I know what the needle nose pliers were for! I was supposed to twist the ends of the pin around them. 🤣🤣

So here I am, past curfew, but with a functioning really cute wheelbarrow!

I'm heading to bed so I can mow my back yard when I get up. I also need to start on my taxes. It's a crap shoot whether I pay or get paid. 🙄😬

Enjoy Sunday, everyone! 💖✨💝

Love that you have a pink wheelbarrow.

And that you assembled it.

Who invented the cotter pin. Mr Kotter?

Who invented the Bobby pin? Bobby Magee?

Who invented the Jesus pin?? Jesus?

My brother, who is quite the mimic, has a nigh-on-to-perfect Sout' Philly accent. It came from working for years with a guy who was stereotypical Sout' Philly, so he got a lot of practice.
It is an accent!

My dad had a central Jersey accent.

“Ta hell wid all a yaz!”

“Waddyaz doin here??”

Al, that’s fanTAStic.”

We always made fun of him, but never to his face… (well every so often… 😂)

Busy and productive day today:

Help Mrs. wonder do a fundraiser and get set up for it. We use the parking lot we own to donate money to our county historical Society.

Then, while she did that, I filled up the wood bins at our farm stand. someone absolutely cleaned us out and bought $140 worth of wood. I would’ve sold him a cord of wood for 125 and they probably would’ve gotten a little bit more…

Then I finished off a maple tree that I took down last fall in our yard and split it and stacked it. I’m not most of it out last week, but, had to finish it off.

I brought the wood splitter back down to the farm and made Mrs wonderer dinner.

Full day!

I cleaned out my closet and bagged up some clothes I dont like too big etc.... gonna take another spin through as there were a few things that fit but am meh about.....

I had to stop because it got to dark and my closet light is broken.... it is an ugly boob light and you can't change light bulbs easily... I am replacing all the boob lights and ceiling fans... they are u a f and I dont like them....

Just one more thing to add to the list. May also call the gravel guy to get some more gravel for the driveway. He did my shed base.... I wish I could excavate and widen...have the weed preventer fabric layed down etc.... but I don't have the money for that.....

There is so much
