I loved this song when it came out, I think I bought the CD with it on it (not positive though, I know I had Let Love Rule)... but hearing it over the last few months, I was listening to the lyrics far more intently and... OMG.. so powerful! When I first heard it, my musician brain immediately liked it, and thought this was a really cool throw back to "my era"... and that isn't wrong. But it also, has some really, deeply powerful lyrics... so cool... that man is far beyond cool, in my mind. Lenny, is truly on a different level.

He's so underrated, phenomenal Artist and liked him in Hunger Games.

Yes, I am inspired by all those styles... but my first requirement is, we are witnessing the artist's talent (whatever that may be). Today, we live in a time when producers routinely (I have heard, always) run the vocals through "an auto tuner". So those talents, like... Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Burton Cummings, Ann Wilson, Roger Daltrey, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Paul Rogers... this list is huge.. people who had talent, and worked their asses off to develop their skills, are no longer what is being sought.

Today, people still have to work their asses off, for sure. But ... not by developing singing skills. There are other skills required. Isn't that weird? How come today, raw talent is no longer the first indicator that this is a person worth investing in... so fucked up.

My cat is the main reason I didn’t get a leather couch. Their little claws won’t vandalize the cloth so easily as fresh, Corinthian leather!!

Also … my naked skin doesn’t peel off cloth like a fruit roll up coming off of wax paper.

I got woken up this morning from a neighbor calling to say my dog was running around the neighborhood! The only one more surprised to hear that than me, was my dog who was laying on my bed.

I appreciate that my neighbors look out for me though, so I don’t mind. But… I was having such a wonderful time, sleeping in.

Okay, I know most of you don't watch my dance videos, which is totally fine. However, this choreo and costume design and camera editing all feels like if Wes Anderson directed this dance. It's also such a technically difficult piece and crazy well done. It's weird, it's intriguing, it's oh yes, it's oh why, it's just... well that's how I feel about Wes Anderson movies too anyway, ignore or enjoy.

Wow… that was totally wild!!! Amazing performance!!! I readily admit, I would watch it regardless if I knew it was a dancing video - but a music video from some artist I have never heard of? I will avoid those.

Thank you for watching it! I usually will only tag you to watch something if I genuinely believe you will enjoy it or if I want your opinion on it. Otherwise, I leave it up untagged but with an explanation for all to watch or not.

I am really glad you watched and enjoyed though! I was simply so impressed by it, I couldn't not share.

This is one of those mornings I've been watching a ton of dancing videos (go figure ) but I try not to blast the chat with them too often. But, I've never seen a performance quite like that one.
