EDIT: This didn't just happen, by the way. I realized after a while that it might have come across that way. I took the picture some time ago, before we moved away from Utah. I saw the theme, and thought, "Oh! I think I have a picture of me in an old pair of jeans." Then when I brought it up, I remembered putting my foot through them. I bought those in 1993, right after I got off active duty. They were my favorite jeans. So, still a little sad about it, but I didn't just now destroy a favorite pair of jeans while trying to take a photo for the thread.
