And he was not wanting to be helped he was just there to complain and yell at us. The mayor has the patience of a saint. But I tried to call him tonight and he didn't answer. I think he's done for now. Either that or his partner got home and he didn't want to take away time from him. He was insistent that we had to have a tax person on our board but we told them the administrator of local taxes is Rita they are the person that we use, along with a lot of other villages in Ohio who don't have the money to hire a tax specialist. He was also upset when we were talking about getting a new police cruiser for $7,000 including all the equipment except for radios from a village who had industry move in, and has a $6 million dollar year budget ours is like a tenth of that less than that. And he started with I don't want this Village to grow it's needs to stay small. We don't want all these taxes. Then he said is that what your intentions are and the mayor tried to explain to him that in order to survive we have to grow. Oh man that really ticked him off. I hate confrontation. What really made me nervous is when at the end of it he would stare at the mayor and then he would look to his left and look at the police officers then he would look at the mayor and back at the police officers. It was like active shooter type situation he didn't have a gun, but it was a little spooky. Small government is not for the week of heart

Slept okay. Ready for a refill on coffee. We have some rain today. Wat will have some weasels today to get this apartment back to habitable. We can hardly wait. The Other Guy took exactly 0% "ownership" of that job and got very little accomplished. He could have had an easy week and still made it happen. Some people's kids . . . .


This is why Wat gets more done before 10AM Monday than most people do all week . . . .

That's a good process. I used to sleep with pen/paper by my bed to help record dreams. Trouble was, by the time I was awake enough to put pen to paper, the dream had disappeared from my recollection. :rolleyes: :LOL:

Mad props!! I find it nearly impossible on a phone and a major hassle on a tablet.

Glad you found a system that worked so you could meet in the middle, sort of.

My turn to feel very seen. Just about anything in a tube. I have a couple meds that come in a tube. They are hella expensive, so I get... aggressive toward the end.

Sometimes that results in a policy change. In my defense, their original position was dumb IMO. While no longer to my advantage as a customer, where they landed after our... interaction... was much more in line with common sense businessing. :whistle: :rolleyes: :LOL:

Thanks for the well wishes again! Wife is really doing well. She still looks a little like Darth Vader with the IceMan machine hooked up but the compression sleeves for her legs with the little battery boxes with blue blinking lights have been put away for now…till next year when her other knee gets done😲! So, an improving Ms Vader!

Who knew you had to come to work to get some rest? 🤷🏻‍♂️. OH, and BTW…the jokes are on fire for the last couple or three pages (I could only catch that much up!). Happy Fritag to you all. Hope your weekend kicks off nicely!
