Tends to be part of the cycle. Especially when the nicer weather starts to hit. But there's always been ebbs and flows to people leaving or just taking a break for a few weeks/months.

I've seen a lot of folks take breaks but leaving, leaving feels so permanent and seeing “deleted poster” where their comments had been is also strange. It probably is all just part of the cycle though.

I wonder how many are actual new faces & how many are people who have been around and are creating new accounts. It would be fascinating to do a study on how often people change their user names and accounts.
