DR zero turn mower 52" cuts 5 acres. Check at Tractor Supply
60" commercial zero now. Just wondering if anyone makes something all electric that would do that much in a single charge.

TS site says 3.5 and 4.4 acres, using A LOT of batteries. Some ambiguous information in the adverts too.

Edit: Might look into electrics when this one quits. Although, it's probably got another 15 to 20 years left in it.

Is there such a thing as having a solar panel or device that I could run in my garage to keep things charged. Like my battery drill or my trickle charger for my lawn mower. If so how bigger device would I need to make it happen
You're local supplier of off grid solar power systems is there to help. If not, these folks have a lot of information on their website. If you're charging a DeWalt battery, the chargers like full sine wave ac current so an inverter is going to cost a little more.

My dad used to use something similar to keep the batteries on his semi from being dead....

Carbs are easy and cheap to replace. $40 carburator, screw driver, socket set and a YouTube video. These days don't screw around with rebuilding.

Next winter, put anything that will winterize your gas into your can of fuel. Remember that even if you do it too early, you can still use the winterized gas AND pour the left over into your car. You don't have to time it perfectly.

This stuff is cheap and it works just fine. Anything like it will work too. Running it into your mower and weed eater at the last mowing of the season will help them start the next spring.
Have to agree 1000%

Although this myth was busted, I also start up all my power equipment on the first Saturday of every month no matter what time of the year it is. Lawn, mowers, snowblower, chainsaw, leaf blower, Weedwhacker.

If that tractor's gonna last 15 to 20 years, why are you checking into electric one now? L o l

Phew. 😩 Thought the workday would never end... but it always does
Grandson took me on a walk tonight to see the sunset from one of his favourite spots.
Thank you, @Greylag and your grandson. What a spectacular way to relax at the end of my workday. Tell grandson he has a cracking good spot!!
I can only reach the things in the very front of the top shelf now. Barely.
Honey, I shrunk myself! 😖
Same - doesn't help that most days I can't do tip-toes because of Achilles' tendonitis. I make due w/ a grabbing tool and a stepstool.
I'm mad your handyman ghosted you! 🤬🤬🤬 I hope you haven't finished paying him!

I'm sad for your loss! 😭💔🫂 I wish I could do something to help. ❤️
He's paid by the hour, in cash, at the end of each day's work. Want something less informal? Around here that means a shift from "handyman" to contracting companies with contracts and much higher prices.

Thanks, Lili 🫂 Once we get those Star Trek transporters I'll be all set. It's just the timing and logistics. I don't expect to be anyone's first call, but if you want me to get time off work and travel across multiple states to be there, please don't wait a week before reaching out. 😔 Still - lots of really great memories these past few days.
At your mention of it earlier, there is a copy of it sitting in my book queue.
Reading Edward Abbey ATM . . . .
I hope you enjoy it. I know you'll follow the weaponry and strategy more than I did. Be sure to flip through the end notes, too. I'm a :geek: and read all the way to the very end... and then oft times the Acknowledgments, too. No spoilers but worth it IMO.
Just had to hand in ammo I found while clearing through someone’s loft after he died.
Sorry for your loss, Grey. 🫂 It's a good friend that will help with the clear out.
Forty years ago, we drank in this little hole-in-the-wall bar that had one of those read blinky-crawly message board thingies high on the wall. One of the repeat messages was, "if the music is too loud, you're too old."
There were nights where I was too old.
I'm often sound sensitive since the migraines started almost 15 years ago. So lump w/ in with the Oldsters Crowd 😉🙉
SHES probably the one who’d say “I wouldn’t be caught dead with a pink wheeelbarrow!” 😂
Now purple on the other hand...

We had one booked for next year …. Then the bastards pulled the ship off the route so we are heading to Japan instead!
More and more areas/countries are limiting the number of cruise ships to an area. Also instituting Tourist Taxes. All trying to minimize the impact of so many people and massive ships to an area. Travel will be more challenging and much more expensive going forward. (Because it was so cheap and easy to begin, eh?)
All I can say is keep moving B2!!

Had to go to the doc the other day, and she said, “dude, you’re not 20 anymore, you gotta treat your body a little bit like it’s 57.”
Yeah… 🫤
I need more than just those few reaction emojis here.
🧐 Quite right - use it or lose it
 Math... why is 20 not like 57
:ROFLMAO: 🤣🤣 I can so see and hear you having this conversation, @Wonderer67
We just like to wear pink leather coats, sparkle nail polish and be treated Ike princesses.
Oh and we will cut a bitch if absolutely necessary
Like cute little feral koala bears

Good morning everyone. I hope y’all had a good and restful night. I’m just sitting here in the VA clinic parking lot waiting for my annual CAT scan. Time to see if the little hitchhiker on my left lung has grown. Have a good at and be safe.
🍀 Hope the scan went well and you get a good result. Keep us posted, BSK 🫂
Hmmm. A place with lots of snow.
I think I'll pass, thanks.

🤣
But you're a natural. You could sign up as a contract Snow Sherpa. Oooh, new side hustle just dropped. :ROFLMAO:
🫂 Is 4 pages a lot?
For some threads... but this one can move pretty fast at times.
I have some empty cases left
That feels a bit like wrapping a pair of socks in a Lego Kit box on Christmas then watching your 8 year old open it.
Sure, I’ll play the triangle and sing!
I'd buy a ticket 🎟️
Maybe I should do a @likes2watchU summary for YOU?

I am working on making dinner for another hour or two, but then I will try
Yes, please... that would be lovely. 😊
