I researched cruises a year or two ago. There's a long-ass one that bounces up and back the coast of South America and spends a bit of time in Antarctica. I think it would be fascinating.


It's 5 months, I think.

We had one booked for next year …. Then the bastards pulled the ship off the route so we are heading to Japan instead!

It's not on my list, bucket or otherwise.


My grandfather went on one of Uncle Sam's Southeast Asian Tours that he used to run regularly.

Rough cruise

I can think of good and bad reasons to take that cruise. One that comes to mind is that it is great as long as you don't get sea sick. I boated for years on a lake with no big waves at all. When I lost sight of the horizon I would start to feel ill. Otherwise that looks like fun.

Good morning early risers and afternoon to our folks over the “big water”.

It’s bitter cold in the 20s with a wicked wind. The day’s plan is to walk the mall then head to a coffee house. I will check in on my GF about the little viral incubators.

Getting old is a pain, literally! I’m going for an MRI in a few months about my hip pain. The last MRI detected something suspicious of about 1 cm on the hip ball. I have a feeling a hip replacement is in my future.

All I can say is keep moving B2!!

I was in the dr office last week. A Stones song was playing and I was thinking how far we've come! No way any Stones songs would have been played in the dr office when they came out!

We had real MUZAK playing in the bathrooms and cafeteria at work. Then - not sure who or why - one day abt a year ago, they started playing really good classic rock.

Now I’m peeing in the bathroom and I might hear Alice cooper, The Who, Creedence, The Kinks, The Stones…

Def a step in the right direction!
