I come here to shitpost and entertain myself. I don't come here to prey on anybody. I also have zero sympathy for complaints about consequences of one's own choices. If I got a sunburn because I didn't wear sunscreen and someone pointed out that it was my own fault my response would be "yep, that's my dumbass penalty," not "I can't believe people make light of my pain." Methinks somebody needs a thicker skin.

Now that I've said my piece I'll leave Sprite's thread as requested.

Well, with an attitude like that, you'll likely find you make a piss poor name for yourself right quick. Compassion for another is a wonderful asset to express. Perhaps you should buy a "for dummies" book on the subject.
 
I was always told that if can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Just because you don't feel sympathy for someone else, that doesn't mean you should open your mouth and be an asshole either. You don't always have to be kind but you shouldn't be cruel.
 
The reason I use the term Incel is because they have an attitude that they’re entitled to women’s time and bodies. We’re nothing but cheap entertainment to them.

And in a moment when I’m not being entertaining, they turn on us and say cruel things, showing their true colors. I doubt it’s just what he does on Lit either.

Decent humans don’t go around behaving that way. They allow other people to have down moments.

It's a fitting term for someone who is a self ingratiating pos. I agree, someone like that probably treats women the same irl too. I've known people like that and it disgusts me. People who come here expecting to see dancing monkeys need to check out at the first exit they find. It's disheartening knowing such people feel empowered by spreading dissension with the purpose of hurting another.

I don't know how the Cubs didn't make that list. With their revenue they should be competing year in and year out, but they insist on spending like a medium to small market team. I do appreciate them not giving out the REALLY outrageous overpriced contracts for superstars that have become the norm lately, though.
 
I really want to share a long winded review of these but I can’t think of anything that isn’t a Spoiler. The show was great. The books dig deeper. Private discussions welcomed.

My ISFJ bestie and I have lunch every Wednesday (when I’m not dying of the covid plague). That Defender personality though…she just took on everyone in our XSmall city on Facebook so I’m guessing I’m in for quite the lunch conversation. IMG_4206.jpeg
