I often think I clearly outlived my time. Something being “sick”, was a bad thing. A “hippy” was someone cool, who likely understood you (and never stank). A dirtbag, was someone you never, ever wanted to associate with because they had no moral character whatsoever. There are so many more examples of phrases that mean drastically different things to kids today… but it is too depressing to me. We can’t even communicate in the same language.

Today I heard someone on TV say.. “ the Jacksons were so famous, not as much as the kardasians…”. And I thought that person was clearly insane. I could not give less fucks about the cardasians , if I tried. But, I do know who the Jacksons are, and have for most of my life. But now, the tv characters are apparently more famous and known than a fsmily of talented musicians and song writers.

Please drop a safe on me now, and take me home. Because this place is way too fucked up for me.
