The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

This is something I did not know! Thanks, B2! 😘💋
You are welcome. The interface between our environment and health is more intricate than most believe. A cluster of GI illnesses in Milwaukee suddenly made clear a major weather event had overwhelmed the water treatment system allowing a GI parasite into drinking water. The alarm sounded in the ER rooms throughout the City.

My day plan: bake breakfast cookies, head to Trader Joe’s, go for a walk, see friends in the afternoon, my old dog walk, and a good night sleep.
Sounds like a wonderful day! I'm going to tackle my yard today. My neighbor is going to let me borrow her battery lawn mower so I can see if I like it.

I spent Saturday bending over picking up yard debris left by the bomb cyclone we had in November (I think!).

I discovered I no longer have a wheelbarrow; I think it was stolen by the construction weasels. So I used the grass seed spreader. 😅😅 I have a PINK wheelbarrow on order!

Good morning all. I log in a little later than normal to find I've missed all the fun!

My attendance will be sporadic over the next week as I am returning to the UK for Mum's funeral. Play nicely and see you on the other side. I will endeavour to pop in when I can with the occasional 'bon mot' here and there.
Take care, NC! We'll keep the light on for you! 🫂🫂💗

More about sepsis: most of the Hospitals in my area have joined to share their experiences and plans to prevent sepsis during patient procedures and hospital stays. It’s been working. More need to do this. Preventing disease and illnesses should be our collective priority.
Exactly! CMS has a Sepsis Guidelines with a complete management bundle, flowcharts, and Quality measures.

In my final job as Quality Manager, it was one of the Core Measures we monitored. As more hospitals are gathered into large Healthcare systems, it becomes easier to share education and experiences. The small community hospital that cared for my SIL was subsumed into the larger hospital system where I worked.

It's why Public Health is so important! We can't possibly treat everything in hospitals. If Public Health is cut, people will die unnecessarily. 😢

My rant that has been brewing for some time:;Why has public health become political? The same question is for environmental health! Don’t we all want clean air, water that’s safe to drink, swim and fish and food not adulterated? We can debate the how, when and what around these health goals but to question the goals is absurd to me. I hope I have not violated the “no politics “ rule here.

I'm up way too late tonight! I was tired and sore today after my workout with my trainer then the workout I put myself through cleaning up my yard and preparing to mow.

I have been researching mowers. I may get the Ego but the Toro is also on my radar. Lowes is running a promotion of an extra battery with any model. It might be enough to sway my decision.

Anyway, I'll use my neighbor's mower tomorrow to see how I like it. It's raining right now. I hope I don't end up having to mow wet grass. I better take myself and my girl to bed so we can be ready!

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone! 💝✨💖

Um... You know you're on a sex site... right? Or did you think you stumbled in here looking for the PC room in the library?

This is our thread; we will conduct it the way WE choose. I'm thinking you would be much happier elsewhere. Run along now! The adults are talking.

We need to put in a moat.

With Crocs.

And hippopotamuses.

Hippopottami???
