So…it’s not deep but I like baseball and hockey a lot.

Lately I’ve been discussing Sustainability the most. Immigration and Race issues. So yes, politics.

I’ve recently Deconstructed from being an evangelical Christian so I chat about that a lot.

Soft sciences (my MBTI obsession and others) but that’s just because they tell me what I want to hear.

I’m sure I’ll be chasing a new butterfly soon.
I’m not much of a baseball fan.

Sustainability in and of itself is a substantial topic. From Arizona continuing to build golf courses and water parks to the capacity of agriculture to harvest crops without migrant workers.

Jebus woman. You are so elequent in your utterances of utter beauty. This is one I could pontificate strongly if given room

The semi hard sciences (no sensual pun intended) are my profession.

And butterflies are beautiful.

I’ve been working my way through a Cli-Fi book with the catalyst being mass destruction and death stemming from climate change and the response the world takes after. So it’s sustainability, geo engineering, economics, politics and morality issues all wrapped into one novel. It’s been a while since I’ve been this affected by a book.

What’s the name of the book?

Have you read Robinson’s Mars Trilogy?

Hard sci fi, but also speaks to sustainability via its take on terraforming. Highly recommended.
I should since I find terraforming so fascinating. I guess I always expected it to be something we did to other planets or aliens did to ours. And then realized how much we’ve done to our planet.

Preferences may have been the wrong word I suppose. Subconscious proclivities for the week maybe? 🤣

But as a non-52 Cubs fans, I suppose I'm screwed. šŸ˜‚ Or NOT, actually. šŸ¤”
Two of the Cub fans have been an ongoing thing.

The psycho who doxxed me in November 2023 was a Cubs fan too.
