Good Morning or whatever time applies...
Last night was hell for Lady K! You see she has thyroid issues, COPD, severe scoliosis, with a kyphosis. I
She was in excruciating pain all day and her meds weren't as effective probably because of the weather.
She has a lot of such days, but some are more painful than others
I feel helpless because there is nothing I can do to alleviate her pain. It's the worst torture imaginable. She turned down a medication that contains fentayl because she doesn't want to get addicted..
I know I can speak freely here, but I'm sorry to say all this. Thanks for being here for me. 💜 🫂 :rose:

You just reminded me of an old timer (aircraft mechanic) WWII Vet, who pull started a DC-3 engine.
He threw a loop over a prop blade, wrapped the rope around the hub, tied it to a jeep and took off! 🤣

So, all you nurses out here. What or how do you treat what I'm guessing is Achilles tendonitis. Calf is sore, but below the head of the muscle. Seems to be tendon or maybe soleus. Annoying as hell, and hurts to walk. Going on a week now. Some days worse than others.

Trying gentile stretching, light walking right now.

The management was traumatised by bloody Bingo. Her mum was an avid player and it was her sole topic of conversation. She moved around Bingo Halls because she regularly fell out with other players!

I was learning to drive a standard, my dad kept saying keep your foot off the damn throttle. I finally had to ask him what the hell is a throttle. He answered the gas god dammit

Rest ice compress elevate. Take it easy when painful. Ibuprofen if you can tolerate.... gentle stretching and massage if not painful... I would say if it goes on or worsens make appt with doc to .make sure
