I was raised by a family that wasn't really your friend. They did grind on us. I've made peace with it. I also raised my child with the simple approach of pointing things out to an intelligent mind and helping him to see consequences of poor decisions before they are implemented, and how to choose better ones. I emphasize Situational Awareness first and foremost.


We got a company e-mail late yesterday afternoon regarding jobs and entries made into the Tracking Program. It was for February, Wat's first full month with the company. The first job that Wat was on got a 81% score, but he was only there for a few days. The first one of this bigger push thing scored an 88%. I'm sure that March will be more gooderer when it comes out.


We hope . . . .


They top score was only 94%, so there's something to strive for.

All of that stuff is much better for the soul than working…

It doesn’t pay the bills as good tho. But maybe we could all live on less…

He was truly a great leader. Inspirational.
 
Went out with a co-worker to shoot some pool last night, he's only a few years younger than me so we're both in the 50's club. Two young guys came over and asked if we wanted to play, we said sure why not.

One of them says "We play in the league so we're looking to practice, you want to split up so its fair?"

Seriously?

It went as people here might expect, we whipped their sorry asses. At one point we were down to the 8 and the kid left me with just about nothing for a shot. His buddy high fives him tells him great leave and because I have to hit the 8 to not get ball in hand, I'm going to move it. I pulled off a crazy bank shot off the nipple of the side pocket and the kid was like "Holy shit, man, I didn't even think of that."

My buddy says, "Kid, he's been making that shot since before you were born. Now you owe us another round, and rack em up."

Youth and enthusiasm rarely is a match for age and experience.
