I have a Jura Impressa J5...it was originally $2000 (yes I got a massive discount hahaha no way in hell did I pay close to that)...so I use whole beans, it can do coffee, espresso, froth milk so I can make lattes and cappucinos obviously...but sadly, it wont start brewing at 5am or whatever.

I'm sure you could find a volunteer here to come over, make you some coffee in the morning, then leave without ever actually interacting with you (yet hoping every time they'd get the opportunity to).

Yep I started watching when I was like 3 or 4 back in the early 2000s as well, so I hear ya and miss the sound.

Just like everyone was tired of the Mercedes dominance before the aero package rules changed. I think the nature of the sport has gotten to the point where if a team nailed the formula at the beginning of the regs, they've probably got 2-3 years of dominance, and if they pull a Williams, specs the next 4-5 trying to get off the bottom step.

I'm excited to see what 2026 does to the pecking order.

This is why I have both a semiautomatic espresso machine (though not as fancy as yours) AND a cheapo $20 mr coffee coffeemaker. I don't wanna think in the morning before work so the cheap one with the timer is handy for the whole "there's already coffee when my alarm goes off" thing.
