Yep I started watching when I was like 3 or 4 back in the early 2000s as well, so I hear ya and miss the sound.I started watching F1 in 2000 during the Schumacher/Barrichello era. Back when Ferrari knew what they were fucking doing. I remember Schumi's engine blowing up after his first stop here at Suzuka in 2005 which pretty much gave Alonso his maiden title. I would like to see another driver get 5 in a row. I was disappointed Vettel couldn't do it.
I saw Alonso, Webber, Raikkonen and Massa debut, back when Red Bull was the main sponsor of Sauber, and Sauber was a really good midfield team.
I miss the scream of the V10s. Desperately. I've not enjoyed the sound of the turbo 6s.
Pretty much at the end of FP1. Only .107 splitting Max and Yuki in 5th and 6th. Hadjar .311 over Lawson in 8th and 13th respectively.
It's only FP1, so it doesn't say all that much, but so far, it just looks like a driving style issue.
I'm in the area, and I'm not even sure what this is.
I loved Vettel.
But I am also sick of Red Bull and their dominance, hate Horner, and while Max is the best currently, I dont love his style on track either. And being Scuderia Ferrari, then yeah not rooting for him.
Agree Ferrari used to be so much better. I think Vasseur is so much better than Binotto though, they just dont have the car that McLaren does.
I saw Yuki in P6 and am very happy for him
