Ah well 07.30 I need to get off my bum. Only walked the dogs, turned a cubic metre of compost into the next bin on the 3year cycle and had breakfast.

Car to the garage in an hour for service and MOT then perhaps get something done!

Lie back and imagine the sun on your face….. soft sounds of waves breaking … let your body sink into the sand….. let the stress filter down your arms and out of your finger tips ….. slow deep breaths in through your nose…. Out through your mouth…close your eyes feel the sun….. the sand is taking your body weight and sucking the stress out of you…..warm soft sun washing over you ….. resetting your mind ….. relaxing ….. sssssssssshhhhhhhh

More because having seven people standing trying to learn from one instructor under those conditions is not best learning practices. Today and tomorrow we'll be exclusively in the field. Forecast is for rain on and off throughout.

Update from the morning taxi run. My daughter saw the sky turn green and took the kids to the basement. Afterward she had 2 trees uprooted and one with too many broken limbs and it may need to be cut down. Her hubby works as a lineman and is on storm repair duty. They have a generator for backup power.

On the drive I saw remnants of an uprooted tree with a diameter of about 24 inches. I dodged closed off roads and tree limbs. It was ugly. I am not looking forward to Wednesday.

Years ago someone sent me the link for the MN DNR Eagle Cam, which high winds have blown out of view this year. But their site links to the MN DNR Falcon Cam, which looks to have an egg already!!

I'm a sucker for a good webcam - cities, zoos, aquariums. I could watch the jellyfish for hours (yes - like a lava lamp). But I pick my own tunes - not a fan of most background music for those that use it.

And huge!!!
