I loath Mondays. It is kind of a nothing day. I don't teach on Mondays this semester, so I only have to go in for a fucking departmental meeting around lunchtime or 'some-other-shit,' then hang around for a bit to see if any of my students wants to drop by and ask stupid questions. Also, having been around friends at the weekend, it is a curiously lonely day.

So this is a total WTF moment. The pharmacist just told me that for this script, since the doc sent it in last week for fulfillment today, I am the one that was supposed to call and tell them, “yes, I want the prescription that the doctor sent to you ahead of time so it would be ready.”
