Brave woman!! I have a friend with a membership. Her rules: No weekends, no Mondays. If we get together any other day after work, it's a go. But she says weekends and Mondays are a complete zoo!!

I mean, my area is behind in precipitation but this much rain when the ground is still likely frozen? File under Less Than Helpful :rolleyes:

Storms passed ok with some hail and no damage to my place. My daughter lost 2 trees though. No injuries reported. Thanks to all.

I made it. New car done good. It has Little Car Things. Like, don't get too close behind a semi because you might get a bit of unwanted front end lift. It sits low, so everything is higher. Also, my ass get's a bit over it by 150 miles. Fortunately, I'm less than 200 from home to here, so it ain't long. I had flashbacks to a 2013 Corolla I drove for awhile. Also, there's nowhere to put much and things want to fall down beside the seat and go under it. I had forgotten that, too.


I will re-acclimate.


I had a nice 60 minute chat with the landlady. Wat is just so damned charming, it's enough to make a body puke.

It is so weird to drive a new car, but saving money is a great thing...

I had fun with my mom today... she was so happy and is very excited about our mom daughter trip.

That's one thing I like about my small SUV - it sits up higher. Kind of like the Lifeguard's Tower. Let you see some of the dumbassery before it happens.
Easier on the knees for the in/out of the car dance, too.

No, that's Calypso. LIkely, Telly is off to the left and out of the picture. Geezer Poodle is staring Southwest while Baby Poodle grazes. The big goat (from when there was just the one) is watching Geezer.
