For a little more perspective, Lancaster County barely went blue in 1964 (by less than a thousand votes), and that was the only time since the Civil War. This particular state Senate district last elected a Democrat in 1888. PVI-wise, this would be like if a Republican was elected in Boston.

Lancaster County PA is deep red. Trump didnt run on half the insane stuff he is doing. He did not run on invading Greenland, Canada and Panama. He did not run on trade wars with Canada. Or insulting various countries. He did not run on becoming allies with Russia. If he ran on half of that he would have been destroyed. He is losing all the swing voters.

This is going to be happening across the board from now on. Heck, I've voted GOP since I could first vote and even though I am in favor of much of what he is doing within the US, I will be voting Democrat because of all this insane shit.
