Hi guys. If I wanted to submit a story one part at a time, how would I do that. I see some stories are submitted by chapters.

Just submit it normally, with each part being one different submission, ending it in Ch 01. You can also make a series and submit each chapter, putting it to that series too.

Is it a chapter story or a series story? There is a difference.

Does each part have a beginning, middle, and end or do they feed off one another to make the complete story?

If it is a chapter story, I highly recommend that you complete the entire thing before posting any parts of it. Doing otherwise will take control away from you. If you get an inspiration for the direction of the story after you have already published pieces of it, you will be handcuffed.

There is also evidence that chapter stories do better with the scores if they are singular submissions, but others will argue this. I know that is as been true for me. So much so that I went back and had all of my chapter stories converted to single submissions and the ratings increased every time.

Story Title
Story Title Ch.02
Story Title Ch.03

You don't need to put Ch.01 for the auto-chaptering algorithm to work, but you can, if you know for sure there'll be a second chapter.

Alternatively:

Story Title - Annie
Story Title - Bob
Story Title - Charlie

Ideal chapter length is around 2 - 3 Lit pages (7k - 10k) words. I wouldn't bother with one page chapters, that's very short by Lit standards.
