Sequels delayed?

Hello! I want to know if anyone has experienced this before.

I'm not a new writer. A week ago I submitted the first chapter to a new story which got approved and published in like 2 days. Later, I submitted the second chapter but it has taken more than a week without the story moving from Pending. Is this something any other authors facing? Thank you.

Delays in approval happen all the time. The usual advice is to drop Laurel a line and ask politely what the status of the story is. How long you wait before asking mostly varies: new writers are often advised to give it a fortnight, more established writers might get away with asking after a week or so.

Yes, use the DM feature (the envelope at the top of your screen). Don't expect an answer, but if your story is stuck somewhere, a simple "Hi Laurel, could you tell me what the status is of my story?" should set things in motion.
