Tractor Supply???
Back to the interwebs which say...

"Fleet Farm and Tractor Supply are both retailers; but Fleet Farm is a Midwestern-focused store with a broader selection of goods including farm, outdoor, and household items, while Tractor Supply specializes in farm and ranch supplies, tools, and equipment."

Tractor Supply looks to be more nationwide, too.
Fleet Farm is still just in a little pocket of Midwest: WI, MN, IA, ND, SD

Mother nature is trying to lull us into a false sense of security before hurricane season. I got a new battery for the generator and took out the gas from last year. Getting ready. Today I will check the boards for the garage door reinforcement and put new SS anchors in the floor.
So, for the record. I'll take snow over that kind of crap!
It's predictable and leaves your house intact. (Unless you don't shovel your roof, but that's your own fault, and that takes months!)

Morning Café Community...
I'm caught up for the moment... won't last... so...
catch-up time :ROFLMAO:
George, what time is it?
Say goodnight Gracie.
Oh yes, thank you George. Uh, good night Gracie.
Oooh, good memories! I remember watching that with my grands when I was far too young to follow all but the simplest jokes. 🫂
Tonight we're having a thunderstorm. ⛈️ 🌩 ⚡️ My girl is freaking out!
So sorry the storm is upsetting your puppy. I love a good storm, but always hated when an animal scattered or burrowed out of fear. 🫂
Many thanks for all the love. I am absolutely fine with everything, even though, as Executor of the will, the mass of paperwork now awaits me.
Mum had a good couple of years after Dad passed, in her own apartment in a community of similar people. She made new friends and lived only 4 miles from my sister and nieces. She passed quickly and quietly. Hopefully, she is now back with Dad and the succession of ageing dogs that she took on in her later years.
Take good care... being executor is important, but a lot of work... and can interfere with the grieving process at times. 🫂
Typical weather where it swings from winter to spring from day to day. It drives my sinuses crazy.
Ugh... sinuses and migraines here. Keep up with the self-care. Hopefully the Bouncy Bouncy Weather settles down soon.
Have a great Monday, if there is such a thing.
 Maybe, but I feel there tends to be one or more words between Great and Monday when that happens :ROFLMAO:
We won't get to see it but I wonder where the automotive industry will be in another 70 years.
A part of me really hopes for that promise of flying cars... but we're doing so well so far with the self-driving ones that I'm not sure 70 years is long enough???
Don't mind me.... I'm just waiting around for coffee memes 😂
☕ ☕
One has to get up pretty early in the morning for coffee memes at the café that or page back a ways
Good morning from Texas! Flew into Houston yesterday and at a good friends here. Then down to Montagorda Bay today.

Nice thunderstorm at 0300!!
So glad you got in okay... now go enjoy your vacation!! They tend to fly by pretty quickly.
I wish you all could've seen the lightning show that I was standing in the middle of.... absolutely AMAZING!!!
So... is it safer when you're on a big boat in the middle of all that water and lightening? If so, I'm adding that to the Bucket List. Sounds like an incredible experience!!!
Just beautiful weather here today and for the week. Mother nature is trying to lull us into a false sense of security before hurricane season
Good on you for staying focused on hurricane prep and not being lured astray by the nice weather
Are you familiar with EMD 2-Stroke 645 series engines... these are 16 cylinder versions.
We blew a head/liner kit (not an uncommon thing).
I am not, but blowing a head is never good... this much I know from experience. Big, expensive repair 😣

P.S. the "645" designation is the C.I. of each cylinder...
I feel like I need a remedial class or three... 🧑‍🏫

In the context of internal combustion engines, "c.i." stands for "cubic inches", and refers to the displacement of a single cylinder, which is the volume swept out by the piston as it moves from top dead center (TDC) to bottom dead center (B.D.C.).
Good morning all. I’ll be up early for the next two months, I have to be in the office by 6:00 AM so while nobody else is here I figure that gives me about 30 minutes to pop in and say hello. Hope you all have a good day and may your ☕️ be strong.
I read that way too fast this morning...
It does not, in fact, say, "...gives me about 30 minutes to :poop:..." :ROFLMAO:
Just how strong is that coffee?!? 🤨
The power pack is no biggie... where the morning REALLY gets good, is the 10 man crew that we were supposed to haul to the platform arrived. Turns out, they're supposed to stay on the boat for the duration of the job (estimated 2 weeks)... no groceries were ordered, no cook was contracted...
Max capacity of my vessel is 16 people, it's maxed. Thus far, my Monday has been a full blown shitshow before the sun even came up....
But at least I didn't get struck by lightning! 🤣
Yikes! My Monday Outlook just got 1000% better
Sure hope someone figures it out soon!!
Fill em with sugar and send em home...grandma pay back

All I can think whe you guys talk motors etc is pretty boat...nice boat vroom vroom....move stuff back and forth.... I understand a bit but would be lying if I said I knew what you are talking about....hahahahaha
same... I can pump gas, check oil and tire pressure, top off fluids, and clean the windows - and I know how to change a tire, but don't have the strength do actually do it myself... but that's where the "Garage Talk" with the girls ended at our house
I'm very familiar with TS
TIL there is a store called Tractor Supply
What? I'm a city mouse living in the city 🤷‍♀️
I've never even been on a tractor - just seen them while driving down the road
Heck, my visit with @Wonderer67 got me on an ATV for the very first time... passenger seat (wise move on W's part  )

I've gone back and watched some of their material. It's so good. Her comedy is genius. Even now, you have to be quick not to let some of those quips fly over your head.

George would later say he wouldn't have been successful without her writing and making him look good.

I may be getting this cat... he is a very friendly cat that showed up at her house skinny and hungry. She brought him in and is getting him to settle down. Gonna vet him and get labs neutered ears cleaned etc. if it works out I will take him.... she was the president of the humane society in her county for 15 yrs. The only thing that she won't give him to me for is if he is feline leukemia positive (she has her reasons and explained to me but it is too long to type).

I have q few i like. Once he gains some weight ( he is super skinny) he is gonna be a big boy.

He needs a name before going to the vet.

He was a roadster and 2 million Miller accident free. He was inducted in to the landstar hall of fame the year he retired.... he worked there 40 years... he was 83 and sick of all the stupid drivers.... he loves being a truck driver
Quite the legacy!!
I remember the tutorial from my dad about "how to share the road with truckers". It started with Respect the Truck, Respect the Driver. 🚚🚛
Went on about how big trucks need so much more space for stopping and then all the different ways to communicate with headlights and turn signals.
Your dad may be one of the only drivers left on the road who still knows 'em. Today's drivers certainly don't seem to be in the know.

There are few left.... and they are retiring quickly... his best friend Tony just retired and they have worked together at 2 companies for over 50 years
