Patel is transferring up to 1000 ATF enforcement agents to the FBI. That represents approx. 33% of their enforcement division. The regulatory people are remaining in place.

Further the CR that recently passed through congress is unique. The various Dept. are receiving their monies as block grants. What this means is that the various Secretaries can dole out the money as they see fit without interference from the courts. IF Bondi and Patel want to financially starve the ATF enforcement arm...............they can.
