A recently divorced woman goes exploring sexually

So I have this idea in my head, but it has some gaps in it that I'm struggling to fill in.
It will be a fetish story, I want to include voluntary humiliation and watersports.

It's about a recently divorced woman in her late 30's/early 40's. I want to write in first person and start it off where she is in some sort of sex club.
Her hands are cuffed, but I make it clear that there is a release mechanism that she can activate at any time.
She is wearing a mask that obscures her identity but it also doubles as a blindfold. It's clear that she is in this situation to let herself be ravished by a bunch of strangers. (So the scene that follows here will be at the end of the story and will be in present tense, I hope I can pull it off to make it a nearly clausterfobic present tense, gangbang scene where she can't see anything so I'll have to describe touch, sound, smell etc. from a first person perspective.)

Then she tells the reader how she got there (This will be in past tense as if the MC is telling it. In a "I bet you are wondering how I ended up here." Kinda way.)

So It started when she caught her husband (now ex-husband) in bed with a girl who looks like she's in her early 20's. I say caught, but basically her husband knew she would come home around that time and did it on purpose. After she walked in on them, her husband handed her divorce papers. He didn't even have the decency to put on clothes before handing the papers to her. After he just calmly walk back to the bedroom to continue with his new girlfriend. She left the house crying and went to her best friends house.
She comes pretty decently out of the divorce financially. She isn't rich, but she's not struggling either. Her ex-husband is distant, when she asked for an explanation he simply said that she was now 'too old', he wanted kids and in his opinion she is too old to have kids. He is a couple of years older than her, but he just said it's different for men.

So I have all that pretty much down, but I kinda need semi-believable scenario's that lead her from a crushed, recently divorced, woman. To a woman who is chained and blindfolded ready to let herself be ravished by strange men. I do think I want to have her best-friend be familiar with sex-clubs etc. and be more open about sex and that that leads her towards that, but I can't seem to grasp specific scenario's that lead her down this rabbit-hole. So I thought maybe you all here have some ideas for that.

I don't think I'll go the route of her letting one specific guy take the reigns and being a sub to him. Maybe for one session but not for a multiple. At least not a male dom. However your comment has got me thinking and I agree with taking it slow. I think I like it better if her best-friend becomes sort of her guide, and she slowly opens up more eventually even doing stuff her best-friend wouldn't do (but loves her doing it). Your comment did really inspire me to think about this some more and this is what I'm thinking for the story right now:

I am thinking of having the story span over a longer time frame maybe 6 month to a year?
And having her connect to her best friend on a sexual level. Her best friend is well versed in sexual pleasures and starts taking her to new experiences. In the story I would describe her new experiences into detail. Like her first lesbian experience, first sex party, first bdsm etc. But make it clear that she does indulge in it more after the first experience, so I would write about the first time she has sex with her best friend, maybe they decide to become permanent roommates, they would have sex frequently but I won't write out all those encounters. Her best friend starts taking her to places for new experiences.

Steps I have thought of so far would be:
- Lesbian with best friend, at best friends house (where MC is also staying)
- Masked sex party, where she watches a lot before hooking up with a masked man.
- Glory hole, where she can indulge in anonimity, releasing her urges more but still very safe and hidden behind the wall.
- Villa sex party, first time without hiding her face and she does more (Maybe first DP?)
- Visiting a dom (with her best friend) where she gets introduced to more bdsm, her best friend being there (also as a sub) to keep an eye out and the dom would say everything he was going to do out loud before doing it.(giving her a chance to say the safeword.

Still feel this would need some more steps before reaching the opening scene, so ideas for that are very welcome! All the steps would be taken under guidence of her best friend, I do feel like after visiting the dom, she could start exploring more on her own as well, doing some things her best-friend hasn't do yet/wouldn't do.

Hmm what if they are both switches?

Would give a bit more dynamic. Together they switch around who is the domme, but sometimes they visit a male Domme and are both subs.

Maybe later in the story they meet a Sub girl who is always a sub. By switching they push each other to more extremes which causes the MC to eventually end up at the opening scene. (Maybe it's a dare from her best friend as they are pushing each other. MC doesn't want to back down so takes the leap to do it, even though her best friend wasn't serious about it when posing it as a dare.)
