A local documentary film festival. It’s not anything that’s consistently sold out or otherwise very eclectic, but getting a group of people to first agree on which ones to see and then making sure everyone gets a ticket to the same screening can be a bit of a process…

Scoring my favorite desk at work.

It’s in a quiet part of the building, far from entrances. It has a nice view and the room it’s in doesn’t seat too many people. I’ll get things done today, which sadly isn’t always the case when I have an office day.

Not actually smiling or laughing, but happy about feeling much better.
Fever is down from over 39 to mostly under 38 (°C, I’m not a vampire).
My hair roots still hurt a bit and the pain behind the eyes and in the bones is almost down to negligable and I can stay upright for more than 20 minutes.

Today I managed to shower and it was a good thing because it’s been mumblemuble days.
I waited until Mr Althea was home, because I’m still feeling a bit weak and wobblylegged, so good to have someone around who can pick me up if I faceplant in the shower.
I even managed to shave my legs, all on my own and without any accidents!

It’s been a really good day, and I have nice things to look forward to this week, too.

I finally got the final missing color of yarn for my blanket project. Apparently everyone is making something out of navy yarn at the moment.

I got an annoying problem fixed at work and I heard that a project I’ve been stressed about will be pushed back, which means I’ll have time to do a good job with it rather than just scramble things together in a manic dash to the finish line.

Tomorrow’s board game club and it’s somebody’s birthday so we’re going to get cinnamon buns to celebrate.

I have Friday off and I’m home alone for the rest of the week. Ahh.

Also a nice dinner to look forward to today.

Board game club tomorrow. Gloomhaven finally after such a long break! I wonder if my dude (or my brain rather) has gotten all weak and wimpy during the break.

It was a really nice day of Gloomhavening. I still remembered how to do it, so that was good. We won, yay!

And a friend had baked me belated birthday cake. That was a lovely surprise.

-I went to see a dance thing yesterday and it was excellent, still smiling thinking about that.
-Work drama is kind of done with. I have a really good boss and I’m thankful for that.
-It’s a little less foggy and icky today than it has been the past couple of days.
-My ankle is almost functional again.
-It’s Friday!

Repotting most of my plants. The ones that didn’t get a full repotting got a good dosage of fresh soil in their old pots.

After the gym today, Mr Althea cleaned the downstairs windows and changed to the lighter summer curtains. Makes such a difference.

I need to clean the windows too, but it’s not quite the weather for that yet for a while here. but when it finally is time to wash the windows, it’ll feel so good.
