One of my dad’s friends left his left arm on Iwo Jima. When the 50th anniversary of the battle was coming up, the VFW reached out to him to see if he’d be interested in going back for the commemoration. His quote…”I ain’t going back over there and shaking their hands. Those bastards tried to kill me!”

I knew a guy - dead now - who turned 19 on Iwo. I think I told his story here a few (hundred) pages back.


They took on a shitty job and faced it head on and got it done.

I was working from home this afternoon so I could work and watch 288477292 basketball games.

My fuzzy coworker had other ideas.

Chappie - looking good, my man!!

And I don't feel like putting the salmon in the oven yet.

The only salmon I tolerate is sushi grade.
Very easy to prepare... it's the proper sourcing and storage that's tricky
