I hope I have not unwittingly broken a rule already, but I assure you I read them carefully as I was Lurking, mostly at the beginning of the thread, and I would not be deliberately rude. So if I’ve transgressed, it was unintentional.

I did in fact come here first as a kind of warmup, since despite the way I may come across I’m quite introverted. Well, ambiverted-leaning-introverted. That being the case, I’m still a bit hesitant to join more boisterous threads! Yet.

Looking forward to hanging out and making some new friends, as you said! Come over for a toast when you have a minute.

This is really a fun and great group.

Sorta like a crew you might find at a coffee place or at a local pub.

There’s banter, kvetching, good ol fashioned joking and some of the more “here’s what happened today” and “here’s how my day went.”

He is getting spayed...the vet said his ear may pop up after that.... I was like from what the shock or is there a pull string you need to pull when you are in there...

Hope each day is still getting better and that the missus gets a visit from her granddaughter!

Yes! DIL and granddaughter surprised her this afternoon. She’s in such good spirits tonight! I had an oyster roast to attend then a round of darts. Nice little break for me. Her first PT appt is in the morning, so I think she gets the bandage taken off and maybe the sutures? The professional nurses will probably have a better read on that.

Man, what a fuckin week. Besides the awesome pancake breakfast Tuesday, I had three straight days of meetings.

Projects and stuff popping left right and center.

I like it busy, but this might be a bit much.

Luckily, the next two days are a little bit later and I blocked time so no one can take up my calendar. I have a lot of shit to do before I leave on Sunday.

Missus and I went for a walk after dinner. Love these longer and warmer days!
