The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I am not as fortunate.
My oldest sister is disabled and my twin says she will help but when I rope her in I can't trust that she will..

Example:

Me--"van you go over (15 minutes away) and vacumn moms kitchen floor and tidy up... I will go over Wednesday and do the rest"

Her--"sure no problem"

I go Wednesday and do it all
Ya being responsible equals more work more effort. Hang in the Missk. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

So I was concentrating on good manners today with the boys..

There are two things I insist on. Firstly nobody goes over an obstacle before me unless I give permission it’s an accident waiting to happen and believe me I have had my share.

Secondly you wait your turn unless I say otherwise. Even Jack is getting the message.

WOW....
good job boys.....

OK Mittering, have I got a rum for you.

Remember back in the late 80’s early 90’s, Sat morning fishing shows on ESPN? Walker’s Cay Chronicles hosted by Flip Pallot was one. One of Florida’s premier outdoorsmen, Flip went on to graduate to making rum…or at least went in and recruited Don Poncho, a master rum distiller, and created Frigate Reserve Rum. It has become my go to! I’ve tried the 8, 12, and 15, and after this nursing stint, I’ll reward myself w the 21! 😂

You can’t buy it off the shelf unless you reside in Fl, Al, GA, or SC…luckily my shooting range is on da border, so I jumps across and nabs a wee dram when I’m there! You can order online though.

Papa’s Pilar is another I’ve been meaning to try…
The best rum I ever had was Caribbean. First wife and I went to Cozumel and Belize 5 or 6 times a year. One year I went I found it and was hooked. I convinced everyone I could to pack some for he return trip. So smooth and sweet you could drink it straight no problem. Never saw it again after that one trip. Wish I would have saved those bottles instead of enjoying them.

yeah there are now classifications of potatoes.
So I had to use Google

“Each of these varieties fit into one of seven potato type categories: russet, red, white, yellow, blue/purple, fingerling, and petite. Potatoes can be used to fuel the body and the brain throughout the day.”

Fin-ger-ling. I never knew you could do that to a spud. It’s depraved lol
