500 trips x $13.6 million per trip = $6.8 billion spent on Trump’s golf habit.

Even if Trump went golfing every single day (never mind the work he does even on those days), the Secret Service expenditures which are incurred are considered a critical expense to ensure the safety of the President. Protecting the President is expensive...this is news?

And a $13.6 million dollar daily expenditure wouldn't even qualify as a rounding error for the US's daily spending of $18 billion dollars per day.

The government would need to cut its total expenses by a factor of one hundred before such a golf trip began approaching 1% of government spending on the same time frame.

That's not even accounting for default costs of Presidential protection Trump doesn't influence or adjusting calcuations on the basis of not being a daily occurence, other business done that day, etc.

It is hilarious though: hundreds of billions of dollars given away for war in Ukraine to continue massive destruction and killing, that's okay.

But a tiny fraction of that spent protecting a President for the four year term of his Presidency? Wasteful!
