The daughter just recently turned 18 and is out with mom wearing a jersey for the local university team. Daughter is coming back from the restroom and is talking with an older man. Mom inquires about him, and she tells her that she's been invited to a fraternity party on Saturday.
Mom says no way and they argue about it out to the car, on the ride and back home. They continue arguing and end up calling her dad who is away on business, and he backs mom up. Mom explains they'll sweet talk her and convince her to do things she normally wouldn't, and ply her with alcohol to make her less resistant.
Perhaps mom knows about the fraternity either by reputation or personal experience. Saturday night rolls around, and mom looks for daughter who is missing from the house. Furious she gets in her car and goes to the frat house. She enters and demands to find her daughter. One of the brothers is sympathetic and helpful and takes her around the house and daughter is nowhere to be seen. He offers her a drink to help her calm down and they sit and chat. He then sweet talks her and everything she warned her daughter about she falls for.
The next morning mom sleeps late and when she wakes daughter asks where she went last night, she saw her drive off as she was walking the dog.
The story seems to be missing something. Maybe the fraternity thing is overdone, but I can't think of another situation that works as well.
