Will we ever see a war between Russia and China?

I ask because one occasionally reads that the Chinese covet Siberia. For its mineral wealth. Siberia is like our desert and mountain West -- there's not much there, but there is mining.

I think no.
The communist Chinese party is well structured. They should simply do to Russia what Putin did to the United States in 2016 - not fire bullet, but still undermine a country. Putin has become a ruthless dictator, and there will be a huge power vacuum in Russia when he dies. I don’t see anyone else in Russia having the balls to kill dissidents in foreign countries and sacrifice soldiers like Putin has. Xi has a replacement. Does anyone know who Putin is grooming to be next?

It is a dumb thread, at least for today. China will ally itself with Russia as long as it's convenient, but they will retreat in their 'alliance' once it becomes a political liability.
