Hello all. 55yr old male here based on Suffolk/Norfolk border.

I have dry socket and on antibiotics..

Glorious.

Dry socket is arguably worse than the actual removal.

Was it a rookie mistake caused by a cheeky cigarette or something else?

No I think I went to sleep and did something on Monday night.

I woke up about 2 hours later with a mouth full of blood so assume that was the clot.

I'm guessing they stuck gauze etc back into the sockets?

This terrifies me. I am a prolific 'snorer' and I've been advised to have my top two wisdom teeth out... I have had friends suffer with dry socket and it sounds awful!
