I may be getting a cat. My friend has a stray that showed up. She used to be the head of the Humane Society in the county she lived in. So he is very friendly, can be pet and picked up, so she thinks he was dumped. About a year old. And he wants to come in. So she's going to catch him, and then take him to get spayed his shots and check for feline leukemia. I will keep you posted

He is super skinny, so she is feeding him, and set him up with a box in the shed. She is currently a dog sitting a dog that is not cat friendly, so she is leaving Thursday and that is when she will bring the cat inside. Apparently he's had some kind of human contact cuz he's very friendly. I'll send you a pic here in a sec

Update - the weather begins acting like spring this week. This morning is grandpa taxi run. Then brunch and a visit with my son.

The old dog is being demanding of affection. Need to scratch his ears then he is satisfied. Does that work for us? .

I got sued once by a sub for not paying him in full for the work he hadn't completed. That was an exercise in st000pid. Fucking court, he still got half.

Fortunately, my contract is not with any of the subs. I did get the "paid in full" invoice I've been waiting for. He did waive the remainder I still owed. I made him sign his name on the form also.

Downsizing on my favourite healthy breakfast of avocado, smoked salmon, grilled halloumi, beetroot, poached egg and rocket, on sourdough toast.
Plus a delicious coffee, of course.

We literally grow them here. One of our garden plots has currants, gooseberries, red and yellow raspberries, and a few blueberries. Wife likes red currants in her pancakes.

Apparently the red and white currants are not the same as the black currants in terms of carrying the pine rust fungus.

I'm curious what black currants taste like. Apparently it's more common in GB, etc.

Our UK folks should know!

I feel ashamed about talking about totals....

Please don't ever feel ashamed. Long-term weight loss is not a smooth curve. There will always be times when a few pounds go back on, when you over eat at times of stress etc. But those small increases serve as an incentive to get back on track. Try setting smaller goals, maybe 3 pounds and then give yourself a treat. Whatever works for you. But know that you can always talk about it here.

This was standard from my days when all our friends were getting married.

Back in the day, the 90s , they haf those little disposable cameras on each of the tables at the wedding. There was always at least one picture of the moon.

It was always the best when the parents or in-laws developed the film!
