Okay… I did a second one. This isn’t a silly throwaway, well, not to me. I wrote this in the 90’s, and have revisited it many many times over the years. Often when things were bad, and it cheered me up. Other times when things were wonderful, and this silly tune was a celebration of that for me. Is it great? Not really. Am I playing it the best I ever did? Not at all. But… I enjoy it every time I play it, and feel better about life when it is finished.

I think this is the second or third time I have tried to capture it on youTube to share here. I don’t think I was ever hapoy enough to share it before, but I could be wrong. If y’all heard me play this before, sorry for repeating myself.

If you think you heard someone else play it, please do not tell me. I would rather think it is mine.

I just want to chill on your couch with a drink while I listen to you play into the night! This one sounds so calming and I’m mesmerized by the movement of your hand playing the chords

I need to have my nails redone. Comically, the wonderful lady that owns my favorite salon, doesn't really do nails as good as some of the the other wonderful ladies there. I prefer my left and right hands done very differently. Right hand, the nails really thick, fairly long. The left had, thin nails, cut very short. So.... she did both hands thick nails, and short. .

Would she fix it if I pointed it out? Absolutely! She is really wonderful. But... I don't like pointing out to someone who I really admire that ... yeah, that's fucked. My left hand nails being so thick means they buzz the strings next to them. My right hand nails need to be longer.

I have a funny story about fingernails. My husband is also a musician, and when were dating, I asked him about the long nails on his right hand. He told me they were for fingerpicking.

So, can I interject right here that I despise long nails on a man?!? Lol

So I had a delimma. Should I ask him to cut them?!? Should I just get over my revulsion? I kind of asked if he *had* to have them long, or if he could play with them shorter. As we talked, he picked up where my mind was, and offered to cut them if they bothered me.

I thought it was very sweet.

It also might have been a deal-breaker if he hadn't been willing to cut them, but don't tell him that!! (Not really, but... but... Maybe. Lol)
