I worked for an HVAC controls company. We didn't install the ducting. We installed the controls for the VAVs and air handlers. When we were on a job site it was 10-hour days until the job was done as our company got a bonus for on-time, no-fault work. So we tried to be done a few days early and have our coding team check and double-check everything. I can't imagine knocking off early on a job site. Sorry to hear you're dealing with....differing standards.
