Let's not forget there's good news in the colorful, diverse, awesome, queer world

Chris Martin, Coldplay corrects his lyrics and makes everyone's day  🥲

Initially starting the lyrics with, “Okay my beautiful sister,” the concertgoer shook their head and held up their phone which read, “I’m nonbinary.”

To this, the “Yellow” singer swiftly responded with: “Oh, I’m so sorry.” He quickly changed the lyrics to the song and then sang: “Okay, you beautiful person/ That’s all I wanted to say.

“Thanks for coming to our show./Telling me what I should already know./Representing LGBTQIA.”

Same sex marriage now legalised in Thailand 🏳️‍🌈🇹🇭

Thanks for posting this! Listening to the story on YT was so refreshing, it all sounded like Thailand approach to LGBTQ folks are sensible, and grown up! Not the bizarre fear mongering I've become accustomed to here in the USA.
It also sounds as if Thailand could be a fun place to visit!

It was ten years ago that I was there and I'd love to go back. Outside of the busy tourist spots it's very chilled. Like any country with such a different culture, you have to wear a suspicious head and ask 'Why is this person being so helpful...?' Sometimes it can be genuine, sometimes a scam. Most locals are just trying to make a living ... and they have one or two excellent surgeons! ;)

I just discovered this journalist Peter Knegt and a column he wrote for some time. While they are not all good news columns a lot of them are, and I enjoyed reading and learning from them!
Sadly he isn't writing Queerie any more, but I believe he is still covering queer news topics for the CBC.

edited to add: today is noteworthy as the first transgender lawyer argued a case in front of the supreme court in the US, The lawyer is Chase Strangio, and I would like to send them my fist bump and give them a huge hug ⚡ 💥

Still around even if I haven't been vocal much!
And I think it is becoming more important to recognize good news in our community given the bleak political outlook for freedom and self expression.
Ohio now has it's first transgender city council member ⚡ Congratulations Arienne Childrey!

Yup, it's not only important to recognize good news, but also to stay as healthy as possible so we can help to overturn the "inverted pyramid of lies and hate" that is currently being held up with very tenuous propaganda stilts..

Knock out a few of those skinny props, and the inverted pyramid will eventually come crashing to the ground.

Not so much good "news" but I hope this makes yall smile and warms your heart the way it did mine.

I used to be suspicious of LAD Bible, simply because of the name - in UK English 'the lads' is synonymous with loutish, misogynistic men. So... hearing decent discussions and interviews from their platform has me do a double-take.
To hear of the physical torture Caroline went through under the NHS is awful. I guess in the 1960s doctors were seen as flawless but the treatment of mental illness smacks of nazi experimentation.
I see it was filmed two years ago. I suspect their opinions would be different today, but everything is changing so fast now.

Ah, thanks much for that cultural clarification.
( apologies for my edit after you posted )
If memory serves, it was based in the UK, but is worldwide now. It's aimed at the 25-35 age group. Maybe it's changed over the years?

Its possible. But not likley I must admit. Big youtube channels have become prime distributers of native propaganda.

This interview is wholesome though, which for me is what matters.

Heres a short vid that might totally suprise some of you. (Its sure did me the first time I saw it)

Wow! Did I see 1982 somewhere in that? That was a time when the world had more important things to worry about ... like nuclear obliteration and putting the first woman in space, twenty years after the Russians.

Here's some good news: trans people are going to continue to be trans people, no matter how many times fascist politicians try to distract from their own corruption by promoting hate of scapegoats.

Its very true. From the days of homemade premarin, to the floors of disco techs. We find a way, same as life itself.
