The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good morning once again! Everyone grab your mugs and cups and raise them..... It's Thursday! The weekend is on sight!!!

A little wet here .... The weather not me although it is early... And cooler but still nice ish for the end of Feb. Anyone have any killer weekend plans upcoming?
Nsils done sat morning.... that is about it

I am a trustee on a sewer board. We are in the finishing rounds of a 3 million dollars sewer expansion.... there is a lot to learn about sanitary sewers..... and how they work.....

Then there is the processing of that waste at the end of the sewer line. That's when microbiology takes over. A whole other world to learn.

Residential plumbing to sewer lines to treatment to effluent back into nature, it's all a delicate dance that for some reason we tend to tromp around like disinterested kids at a sock hop.

Sorry. Touched on a subject I'm familiar with.

Good. I was on the other side for a long time. Drinking water treatment and distribution. We were glad the sewage treatment did its job!

Morning everyone. I'm on my first cup of coffee and trying to pry my eyes open.

Oh, discussions about infrastructure! I've never worked in the field. I have read a lot about it as I'm always curious how things like electricity, gas, and water get to my house for me to use. Those networks are complex! My hat's off to any of you involved in helping people have sanitary houses and fresh drinking water.

Keep with it ... because it would be a shame if you gained all that knowledge and then flushed it away.
(Sorry -- someone had to dad-joke it.)

I did drinking water too. Class 2 with lab tech license for both drinking water and wastewater before COVID. Got to see the deregulation in two states and the toll it took in communities and the workforce.
