The 50 Years of Music is just incredible. Questlove directed, and he sat and watched every musical guest for several months before he started. Just a labor of love. I don't know if most people realize how important SNL was to music, and vice versa. It is all the history -- the good, the bad, and Kanye.

But even if you don't watch the whole thing, watch the first seven or so minutes, where they do the montage. It is so, so, so well made.

Generationally, not so much for the current generation, but Xennials and GenX, I think SNL played a big part in the social scene and helped form a lot of our sarcasm, ability to handle it, and dish it back out!

not for me but again I live in a small town. I think people who live in cities enjoyed it more. They could relate!
